How to make your own Crystal Grid

The other day I created a crystal grid for healing for one of my soul sisters. Crystal Grids are an incredibly powerful way to manifest your dreams, goals and intentions. The power of a crystal grid comes from the combined energies of the crystals you use, how you lay them out and the intentions you set. Basically, a crystal grid is a special arrangement of crystals and stones, used with intention, to manifest a desired result. Common intentions that people use for crystal grids are for wellbeing, abundance, healing and protection. Personally, I use most crystal grids for sending healing or protection to those on my healing lists or with those I am coaching.

There are really no particular rules when it comes to crystal grids, it's best to use your own intuition and work with what you feel guided to do with the crystals. Some people like to do them on a cloth (I have cloth flower of life grids) or a piece of paper with sacred geometry on them, as they believe this increases the power of the grid. Others like to include pieces of nature, like leaves or flowers in their grid. Many people pick their stones based on the properties of the individual crystals that are aligned with what they would like to manifest. I personally go with a mix of properties and intuition -the possibilities are endless!

There are generally three kinds of stones used in a crystal grid: Focus Stones: These are placed in the centre, the focus stones absorb, focus and amplify Universal Life force energy and send it out the other crystals in the grid.

Way Stones: These crystals surround the focus stone; They absorb the energy that is sent out from the focus stone and they further enhance the energy with their own healing qualities.

Desire Stone: These are the crystals on the outer of the grid. These stones represent the outcome/desire/intention of the grid. They further fine tune the energy received from the focus and way stones with their own energy to the desired outcome.

Another part of the crystal grid is the path. This is the lines of the grid, which acts as a conduit for the energy connecting each element. Energy flows down these lines out from the focus stone to the desire stones. You can also use a visual aid such as a picture and place it beneath the grid to represent an outcome.

The best choice for a focus stone should be a powerful, large crystal that complements the desired outcome. A clear quartz is a great focus stone.

🔮For confidence: Tigers eye, citrine, ruby or carnelian 🔮For mental clarity: Lapis Lazuli, Blue Kyanite, Blue Obsidian, Fluorite, Citrine and Clear Quartz 🔮For healing: Malachite, Apophyllite, Celestite, Labradorite, Lepidolite and Jade 🔮For relationships: Rose Quartz, Rhodochrosite, Garnet and clear quartz 🔮For financial prosperity/abundance: Citrine, Jade, Green Aventurine, Moss Agate, Ruby, Peridot or Tigers Eye 🔮For Spiritual Development: Amethyst, clear quartz, danburite, snowflake obsidian, tourmaline, amazonite, celestite and moonstone. 🔮For transformation: Moldavite, labradorite, chrysocolla and Malachite.

Desire stones represent the desired outcome and if working without a grid, would be selected on their own for the specified purpose.

🔮A long-life grid may include a rhodonite crystal focus stone, amazonite way stones, amethyst desire stones and the grid path sheet. 🔮A neutralising grid might contain a citrine focus stone, Atlantisite way stones, chrysocolla desire stones and the path sheet. 🔮A broken heart healing grid could come with a malachite focus stone, lapis lazuli way stones and rose quartz desire stones along with a path sheet.

Many choose to use crystal points as way stones. However, there is no right or wrong way. Go with the flow and enjoy creating your grid.
