I doubted myself at first...

Hi lovely people, today I’m going to talk to you about my connection and journey with Archangel Michael. Michael was the first Archangel that I ever consciously connected with. I was attending a 2 day workshop on connecting with angels (I actually can’t remember what the name of the course is now), this workshop is where I first met and connected with some people who became friends, Donna, Elaine, Sammy, and Sarah. Three beautifully spiritually connected ladies, so even though I can’t remember the name of the workshop, I do feel incredibly blessed to have met these wonderful souls. We had been led through a number of exercises and meditations, and we were also guided through who a few of the Archangels were and then led to connect with an Archangel. And here is where I doubted myself. The name I got was Michael, and the reason for the doubt? Well, that was easy, my dad’s name was Michael so, Megan who led the workshop went round the group and asked who we got and checked in who we had. So, when she got to me, I was nervous, I don’t know why because it wouldn’t have mattered really if I was wrong or right. This wasn’t a test, Marie! So, I explained I thought I got Michael, but was unsure due to the fact that my late dad’s name was Michael. She smiled, said something to Sarah, I can’t fully remember the details of what she turned around and said, and then she turned back to me, smiled, stretched her hand out toward me on the table she was sat at, and said “It wasn’t your daddy, it was the big daddy Archangel Michael”. And that was the start of the journey with Archangel Michael.

So, over the coming months when meditating or doing readings for myself, it was Archangel Michael who was stepping forward and helping me to step up in my spiritual journey. He appeared in readings other psychic mediums did for me, he appeared when I was having reiki, even so much so that I was recommended a piece of Sugilite after a reiki session which strongly connects with Archangel Michael. He was a great help for me as I was back in the office after being off sick for 4 months, there was still a lot of gossiping in the background as I returned back to work due to someone who had worked for the organisation still had a lot of influence over those I was working with, that unknown to me at this time had caused a number of issues within the team. So, I would call on Archangel Michael to help me blast white light through the office as I arrived, it helped me become more resilient as I felt more protected and things we’re being cut away, as it was revealed the influence and effect this person had had on the team. Which was revealed on a after work get together, which I wasn’t at as I was doing another Angelic Workshop and a Goddess Workshop, in hindsight this was the right thing to do. Anyway, enough about that.

Archangel Michael was my main guide as I was working my way through my spiritual journey, I developed a really close connection with him, and as I developed more my spiritual team consciously grew, my next guide was a goddess who I connected with for my Reiki healing. After time though, it came to the time where I was having a shift and Michael was no longer my main guide. Due to the time of which I was born he was already in my spiritual team and always will be, it’s just I don’t need to call on him all the time. This still made me sad that he was no longer one of my main spirit guides as he was the first, I was consciously aware of, and I knew I could have fun with him, be a bit childish with but also know my boundaries with him. Due to my childhood, if you haven’t read about it you can read about it here, I believe he was working with me keeping me safe, helping to keep me going. I just wish I knew more about spirit guides when I was child as it probably would have given me a greater source of strength to lean upon. And if you’ve read my story, you may think that he wasn’t doing a great job, but actually he was, it could have been worse than it was, and I am grateful everyday for that. I’m still here fighting strong.

At the moment he is back working with me closely again, particularly as we are navigating Mercury in Retrograde, and he is the ruler of the planet Mercury, so he’s helping me again to move through a time of pause, review, reset and transition. And this is extremely comforting. When he’s around I know I’m safe, his presence brings me so much strength and this sense of knowing that everything is going to be alright. He typically appears to me with a blue light, with a hint of white on the edges, he sometimes shows me his sword or his whip of fire.

Whenever I need to put a bubbler of protection around myself, I call on Archangel Michael to assist with this, I ask him to place a ring of holy fire around my bubble to ensure that only those of a certain vibration are able to enter the bubble while being unharmed.

Archangel Michael is Guardian angel of Wednesdays and the planet mercury, he also offers protection for those travelling, and he is the ruler of the fourth heaven, Zebhul. He sits within the Seraphim choir, he is the angel of the blue healing ray, as well as being the protector of humanity, guardian of the south gateway and the element of fire, and finally angel of summer.

If you would ever like to call upon Archangel Michael for protection throughout the day you can use this prayer “Archangel Michael, please surround me with your light and protect me throughout the day. Be at my side and guide my words and actions assisting me to act from a place of love. Please clear my energy helping to release fears and limiting beliefs. Help to fully experience love, light and joy, and guide me on my journey for my highest good.”
