I know it's meant to be blue moon, but I took some artisitc license with the lyrics.
The new moon in Libra energies peak at 12:06pm (GMT) on 6th October and there are some big energies at play.

On this day not only are the new moon energies peaking, but Pluto also goes direct on this day, after being in retrograde for four months. Pluto is the first of four planets this month that will go back to direct after being in retrograde.
And as well as The New Moon in Libra and Pluto going direct, we also have a Stellium, this is where cosmic bodies line up, we have the sun, the moon, mars, and mercury all in a line in Libra. This is super-charging those Libran energies, and this means we are being supported to bring things into balance with a much greater sense of ease.
So, this new moon is full of new opportunities, rebirth, and balance. So, this is perfect moon/day to get your manifesting on! This will be a powerful time to manifest abundance and prosperity to bring more balance into your life.
You can read the full energy forecast for the new moon in Libra and the rest of October here.
This ritual is designed to help you work in harmony with the new moon in Libra energies, if you feel you need to adjust the ritual to meet your needs, please do so. This ritual can be completed three days before the New Moon and up to three days after the new moon peaks.

The High Priestess Tarot card links powerfully with the new moon, and the Empress Tarot Card links strongly with the Venus energy of the Libra sign, so we’ll touch on what these cards represent.
The High Priestess is the third tarot card in the major arcana, but in the arcanum it is number two.
Key Phrases: A secret needs to be revealed, trust in your intuition, seeing beyond what is obvious, remembering something of significance.
Astrology: Moon
Yes/No Interpretation: Due to the nature of the High Priestess and she stands for things that have yet to be discovered, this shows that the answer to your question is unclear.
The High Priestess is the epitome of all that is unknown. The high Priestess is all seeing but gives nothing away and guards the secrets of the unconscious. She represents the boundary between the real world and the hidden world. When you draw this card it’s a good time to look behind the veil of illusion, to look beyond that which seems obvious or as a fact on the surface and also be open to the fact that life is a mystery. The High Priestess is seen in many different archetypes such as Persephone, Artemis, Isis, Dana and many more. She is sitting on a piece of cubic stone between two pillars of Solomon’s Temple, Jachin and Boaz. Jachin is the pillar on the right representing establishment and the left pillar, Boaz represents strength. The pillars also represent the duality of life; masculine and feminine, good, and evil, negative, and positive. Her position between the two pillars suggests that she acts as the facilitator between the depths of reality and that she is the third pillar - representing the path between. The High Priestess believes that both pillars are equal and that there is knowledge to be learned from both worlds and that we should in turn need the knowledge and to respect and accept the duality of entering this deeply sacred space. Then high priestess wears a blue robe indicating her knowledge and she is also wearing the crown of Isis indicating she believes in the power of magic also indicating her status as a divine ruler. She wears the solar cross signifying that she is connected to the seasons and the earth. The crescent moon at her feet has links with the Virgin Mary as well as her connection to the subconscious mind and the cycles of the moon and means that she has a complete grasp over her emotions. The pomegranates indicate to the aspiration of the priestess as well as her links to Persephone who ate pomegranate seeds meaning she would have to return every autumn. In her lap, she holds a scroll with the letters TORA, signifying the Greater Law. It is partly hidden, indicating that this sacred knowledge is both explicit and implicit, these hidden truths will only be revealed when the student is ready to look beyond the physical realm. In an upright position the high priestess sitting at the threshold of the conscious and subconscious mind she is able to travel with ease between the two worlds of the tangible and the hidden world. She teaches us that all is not as it seems, and that there are other, deeper influences at play. She guides you through the veil of awareness, offering you deeper, intuitive insights and understanding of the universe and of deeper hidden meanings, information, and messages. She signifies spiritual enlightenment, inner knowing, divine knowledge and wisdom. She will often show up in a reading when the veil between both worlds is thin and you have the opportunity to access deep knowledge within. Spend time being still and tapping into your intuition, the answers you/the querent are looking for lie within. Allow the High Priestess to guide you as you journey into the subconscious mind and access the inner wisdom. Connect to your higher self, guides and intuition through meditation, visualisation, shamanic journeying, and join and take part in spiritual communities. If you pull this card, now is a time of heightened intuition, psychic abilities, if you are developing these skills and abilities the High Priestess is here to guide and encourage you on your journey and to trust that you are on the right path. The more you listen to your intuition the more it will flow naturally. She is also a sign that now is the time to embrace the divine feminine within - whether you are male or female, embrace your connection to your intuition, compassion, empathy, and inner wisdom. This is vital for you to balance your energies, the masculine and the feminine, pulling this card indicate that you need to spend time paying attention to the divine feminine energies/your inner goddess. Take time to feel instead of think, create instead of destroying, collaborate instead of competing. Be proud of these intuitive talents, let them shine, don’t hide them away.
If you are wanting to identify how you can move forward on your spiritual path find the High Priestess in your deck the card in front of it is what is blocking you or is the challenge you need to overcome on your spiritual path, and the card behind the high priestess is what you need to focus on to move forward. he physical realm.

The Empress is the fourth tarot card in the major arcana, but in the arcanum it is number three.
Key Phrases: Focus on beauty and art, in harmony with the natural world, being extravagant, luxurious living, and sensual awareness.
Astrology: Venus
Yes/No Interpretation: Yes
The Empress is a beautiful blonde haired woman, with a full figure, she sits on a throne along with a luxurious array of cushions and flowing red velvet. One of the cushions on the throne features the symbol of Venus the planet of love, beauty, creativity, fertility, and grace. On her head, she wears a crown of twelve stars (12 months of the year and 12 planets), this symbolises the connection to the physical world and the cycles of nature. Her robe is patterned with pomegranates signifying her link to fertility and also the Goddess Persephone. A beautiful forest and a stream surround her signifying not only her connection to mother earth but also to life itself. She draws her peace from the forest and the water and is restored by the energies of the earth. There are also wheat springs from the harvest representing the abundance from the recent harvest. This card indicates the nature, the arts, grace, beauty and at its worst, greed possessiveness and over-indulgence. When this card is pulled in an upright position this signifies a deep connection with femininity, and this can translate in many different ways, sensuality, elegance, beauty, creativity, expression, nurturing. It should be noted this is necessary for creating balance in both men and women. When this card is pulled for you or the querent, this is a message for you to connect with your feminine energy. Spend time creating beauty in your life and be present by connecting with your five senses to enhance a sense of fulfilment and your experience of pleasure. Treat yourself to a day of self-care, treat yourself to a nice outfit, go to for a tasty meal, have a date night with your partner or create time in your day to day life to spend time making a meaningful connection with them. Discover a different approach to allow yourself to express your creativity, it could be through writing, music, painting or other forms of art. This is the opportunity to learn a new hobby that enables you to access this creative part of yourself. The Empress signifies abundance, you are surrounded by life’s pleasures and luxuries and everything you need to live a happy and comfortable life. This card often signifies that you/the querent is in a period of growth, where everything you have been dreaming of is coming to fruition. Take time to reflect on everything you have around you and offer gratitude for all you have created so you can continue to build on this energy and create even more abundance in your life. As the mother earth archetype, she urges us to ground our energy, particularly by heading out into nature and allow yourself to flow with nature and be present in the moment. Spend time in your favourite nature spot and spend time to breathe in the energy of nature and of your surroundings. By doing this it will allow you to access higher planes of consciousness, presence, and peace. When you are in tune with the energies of the Empress her mothering and nurturing skills will be channelled through you, and you will feel a strong urge for caring or nurturing others, this will all come from a place of love and compassion. In a more literal sense this could represent you as a mother/parent or a guardian or caretaker of the young. It could also be a sign that you need to spend more time with the children in your family. The empress can also represent pregnancy or birth, or it can represent you birthing a new project idea. Bring your ideas into being by nurturing them and supporting their growth, support your manifestations to flow through you, with compassion and love.
For your new moon ritual these two energies are fantastic to call upon particularly for this new moon, the balance between the spiritual leader and the deeply creative, abundant, and connected mother.
Wishing you all new moon blessings
Marie
