Soulful pursuits and the birthday of a sensitive new age guy

So we are at the start of a new week, which means new mindset, new goals, and we're now in chapter 33 out of 52.


I find one of the best ways I can set myself up for the week ahead is meditation, it allows me the peace and space to calmy set my intentions, and calmy and mindfully set my goals and to do list for the week and the day. I find doing this sets me up to be fully present in my day and enable me to face any challenges with more prescence, calm and creative thinking.


Meditation offers me so much from connecting to spirit, connecting with the earth, but also it allows me to be fully present in my life allowing me to savour the moments, which will become memories. It allows me to not overly react or become too overwhelmed by what I'm experiencing or what is happening around me, and it allows me to bring focus to what I'm doing.


Also, when I'm strugglin,when life feels hard I go into this space of meditation to allow me to lean into the feeling, without becoming it, it allows me to be the witness of what I'm experiencing, not just taking in part of the experience but the whole of the experience. I allow it to be. And through leaning into it amd allowing myself to witness the feeling I am able to release it all, so much quicker.


By resisting the feeling it persists, by accepting the feeling as it is and bearing witness to it, we open ourselves up to release it and start the healing process. This is not always necessarily an overnight thing, we won't necessarily feel 100% better but we can find relief. And it's the feeling of relief we're looking for, because when we feel relief we're more able to think clearly and find the soloutions or release the need to control and trust that an answer/solution is coming.


Next month I have two meditation sessions planned, one on 23rd September which is an Autumn Equinox meditation designed to tap into all those energies of change, and the second is a calming meditation on 30th september dersigned to do just that, bring a calming and deeply relaxing meditation/ Each session is £5, and can be done face to face, but there will be an option to join online too.


In other news, some behind the scene stuff, it's my husbands birthday today, and very fortunately he too is a psychic and healer too, which I'm very grateful for as we have such common beliefs and interests. So we started celebrating on Saturday at his parents home with food, plenty of cake and a few tipples. We had a lovely time followed by a

(failed attempt ) into Newcastle City Centre on Sunday - it was match day so there was no chance of getting parked, so after over an hour of being in city centre traffic we went to metro centre instead.


Today we will be having a laid back day of celebrating, walking my mums dogs and heading into Carlisle City centre for a wander with my husband and daughters.
