Weekly Card Reading

This week we are working with very feminine energies so expect strong emotional and intuitive themes. This week I have been drawn to my keepers of the light deck, my tarot deck, the Gaia Oracle deck and the Goddess Power Oracle Deck.

Card of the Week (from the Gaia Deck)- Liberation - The overall theme for this week is that we are being given the opportunity to rise above our ego, break away from negative attachments and start to find freedom through loving ourselves. The first step to this is looking at what in your life needs to be let go, needs to be released, and then we need to follow the process of surrender. With the moon making many connections this week our emotions and intuition are heightened, so we need to take time out and surrender and honour what our emotions are bringing up for us. We also need to take note of where we feel these emotions in our body to help release them fully to ensure we are not holding on to them. You may also benefit from carrying out cord cutting on Wednesday night. The way to the light is through the darkness.

This week with the energies being highly emotional it will be so so so important to keep ourselves grounded, present and centred. So using daily mindfulness will be a key tool, also making time to journal (if you do), meditate, drink plenty of water, and if you are able get yourself outside for walks. Just your feet touching the ground has a grounding effect. You can also use essential oils such as sandalwood, ylang ylang, lavender, mandarin or rose geranium or crystals such as black tourmaline, obsidian, tigers eye, red jasper, hematite or smoky quartz.

What to look out for (Tarot Deck) Two of Cups - This week we may feel the pull to connect with people in our community, create a community or find new friends. Even though we cannot be together physically it does not mean we have to be separate. This will definitely be a time for creating meaningful connections with those interests are similar, and where we can help one another learn and develop a deeper sense of understanding. Joining groups (virtual), joining or setting up support groups, attending meditation circles etc.

Guiding Spirit (Goddess Power Oracle) Metis - Wisdom - This week Metis' message is for us to step forward, come out of hiding in the dark, confront ourselves and work out why we are playing small. Take time out this week to look within and start looking for the answers within ourselves that we have spent a long time looking to the outside world for. This week go within and you will find the freedom and the answers you've been looking for. To get out you must go within.
