After many years of not loving myself and being in relationships that weren't healthy I feel very blessed and grateful that I have an amazing relationship with this gentle giant.
We've started doing something recently to continue to cultivate that gratitude and love for each other.
This is where we list 3-5 things that we are grateful for about the other person from that day.
I find this a really beautiful way of focusing on the love and ensuring that no matter the disagreements in a relationship the love is always there.
It actually helped give us an even deeper understanding of each other and the love we have for one another. The first time we did this I had a bit of a happy cry, because I was so overwhelmingly touched by this outpouring of love and gratitude we have.
I really recommend you do this with not just your partner, but your family and friends.
